Can I build it with AI?

Please do — that's half the point. Feed ai.txt to your agent; Codex Sites or Replit can even host the result.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. AI-assisted artists are exactly who we're hoping for. Art Projects don't have to be software at all.

Can I make money with this?

Yes — build a business, not just a demo. Route mints through BasePaintRewards and your app earns half the protocol fee on every mint it refers, paid in ETH. The art is CC0, so you can sell what you build on it too. BasePaint Bot started exactly this way.

Does it have to be open source?

Yes — BasePaint is CC0 and open; entries keep that spirit. Include a public repo link. (Art Projects: share whatever makes it reproducible.)

Can I enter an existing project?

Yes, with meaningful new work built this week — say what's new in your show-and-tell.

Teams?

Solo or teams, no size limit. One quote-tweet per project.

How are prizes delivered?

As BasePaint subscriptions — pre-minted canvas days sent onchain to your wallet.
