A film noir comic grid of rain, smoke and lonely rooms, where a desk newspaper announces that Chief Pepe was found dead.

Every noir needs a body. Abhijoysarkar spent hours on the corner still life, with a glass, a smoking ashtray and a newspaper headline about a murdered chief. Designsb looked closer and found a gun, a ring and a cigarette pack hidden in the scene. They demanded answers. Who killed Pepe, and who was reading the paper? Abhijoysarkar had the case solved already. It was Mrs. Pepe. It is always the wife, and she smokes menthols.
