Ouroboros

A dragon wraps a ring of carved life stages, from a curled fetus to a skull on a pillow, around a day and night yin yang.

Late in the night, Afuro looked at the half finished dragon and spotted a problem. Its tail slid behind the head instead of into the mouth. A serpent that never eats itself is just a snake lying in a circle. Afuro posted a quick sketch and stepped away. By morning Designsb had taken up the job, widening the jaws and redrawing the bite. Now the dragon clamps down on its own tail, and the ring finally closes.
