Firefall, Yosemite

Yosemite's Firefall glows above Camp Curry at night, and the full moon seems to pour straight into the waterfall.

Late in the day, with the cabins lit and the campfire crackling, bash134 got ready to swap the little bear in the corner for an off-road Jeep. creamy spoke up just in time. Yosemite is bear country, they said, and they had pictured this camp back in the 1800s, long before Jeeps. bash134 took it in stride and parked the Jeep off the canvas. The bear still sits at the edge of the firelight.
