Apertures in the Gloom

Fifteen gothic windows glow in candlelit violet, and behind one of them a tiny astronomer aims a telescope at the stars.

Designsb started the night by painting a monster octopus into one of the gothic windows. By morning it had been painted over, and Designsb was relieved. They admitted they had no idea why they drew it. So they set out to paint something romantic instead, a couple sharing a quiet moment with a heart on the glass. The candle gave them trouble for hours. Danielailustra called the finished scene beautiful.
