Riverside Autumn Village

An autumn village glows beside a still river, and the sky is lit up even though no sun appears anywhere in it.

Early on, Bombadilus painted a row of houses lit warmly from the right. Anza--c noticed their own houses matched that light exactly. Later Afuro arrived to paint the sky and tried a glowing sunset. It was lovely, but the sun sat in the wrong spot for every lit wall below. Afuro even offered to tilt a mountain to make room. In the end the sun stayed out of the picture, and only sunlit clouds remain.
