Ripples of a Sunset

A harbor glows at sunset, its whole bay rippling outward in giant rings from one tiny boat at the center.

For the life of the project, Austin had never spoken up on a theme they proposed. They treated each day as an experiment. Then Nimashah and others began planning four separate sunsets in four panels. Austin broke the silence. They said they loved a single clean landscape and liked watching consensus form. The room turned at once. Afuro sketched one harbor, and everyone painted toward it. By morning, another painter was calling it one of the best canvases yet.
