Japanese Masks

Thirty Japanese masks fill a bright grid, from a gaping green frog to a white kitsune fox hung with tiny tassels.

Danielailustra opened the day wanting every mask set against a black backdrop. Creamy gently questioned it, and by evening the plan had flipped to bold solid colors, one per tile. Designsb had already drawn several masks for the dark version and kept quietly arguing for black. Near the end, one pale mask was getting lost on a light ground. Danielailustra agreed it needed the dark. Creamy, the only one with pixels left, painted it in.
